FRANKFURT – Next week’s Techtextil trade fair on technical textiles will return with a focus on the potential of sustainable raw materials derived from alternatives to petroleum-based textile fibres, where exhibitors will showcase new fibres based on bacteria, spider silk and milk proteins, with some claimed to offer high strength anti-bacterial and moisture absorbing properties.
