SINGAPORE - Dyes and chemicals specialist Huntsman has entered a strategic partnership with DyeCoo Textile Systems, a Netherlands-based machinery builder that has developed and built the first commercially available waterless textile dyeing machines that use CO2 instead of water.
DyeCoo technology works by using recycled carbon dioxide as the dyestuff carrier, a method which completely eliminates the use of water in the textile dyeing process. The name “DyeCoo” itself, was inspired by the process of “dyeing” with “CO2.”
