SINGAPORE - Global textile auxiliaries and colorants supplier DyStar says it managed to maintain its total carbon footprint in terms CO2e in 2011, compared to the same production levels in 2010. Launching its second “Carbon Footprint Report” which calculates the impact from its global operations in 2011, the group’s global carbon footprint was calculated to be 168,133 metric tonnes of CO2e, slightly more than 160,993 metric tonnes of CO2e in 2010 largely owing to higher production volume, and improved coverage of activity data as the company further streamlined the data collection processes and methods.
