QUEBEC – Unifi has teamed up with three other companies to develop a new closed loop recycling program for the textile industry that will see waste transformed back into fibre and yarn.
Renowned for its Repreve family of recycled fibres, Unifi is collaborating with Victor Group, a North American-based firm specializing in sustainable fabrics for the contract, residential, outdoor and apparel markets, Designtex a design, marketing and sales business in the contract sector, and Steelcase, a supplier of sustainability themed furnishings and other products.
